Bio
Clifford W. Rich, 90, of Sherwood, AR, passed away July 7, 2011. He was born December 11, 1920, in Ravenna, Texas, to John and Alta Rich. He is predeceased by his wife of 38 years, Frances; two brothers: Leonard and Earl; and two sisters: Mamie Gee and Merle Wisely. Mr. Rich entered the U.S. Army in 1938 and retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1962. He later retired from Franklin Electric Corporation and Pine Meadows Mobile Home Park in Jacksonville, AR. He is survived by a son, Rudy; daughter and son-in-law, Patrice Clipp and Charles Emerson; three sisters: Effie Rich, Othella Yonce, and Judy Webb; and grandchildren: Clifford (Kim) Clipp of Forney, TX; Tamara (Doug) Adkisson and Greg Clipp of Sherwood, AR; and Lane Clipp of Jacksonville, AR; and five great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 11, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. in Mulberry Cemetery near Bonham, Texas. Those who knew him will have fond memories of his gentle and loving soul.
