Bio
Marcella Osina Perkins, 91, passed away peacefully July 24, 2011 in the home of her daughter Renee, where she had resided during her illness. She was born October 4, 1919 in Weimer to the late Charles Osina, Sr., and Cecilia Knebel Osina. Momma enjoyed life to the fullest and was always smiling. She loved playing Bingo, gambling, fishing and shopping. She will be missed very much. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 38 years, Audrey "Perk" Perkins; and brothers George, John, Albert and Clarence Osina. She is survived by daughters Renee Perkins and James Bryce of Pasadena, and Pamela and Jeff Dike of Clute; grandchildren Amanda Roberts, Nicholas Roberts, Skye Dike and Fanacey Dike; brother Charles Osina, Jr. and wife Mary of El Campo; and sister-in-law Gladys Osina of El Campo. Visitation will begin 12:00 noon Thursday at Triska Funeral Home with a parish rosary being recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday, July 29, 2011 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Osina, Darvin Osina, Charles Osina III, Michael Osina, Johnny Osina, Al Osina, Mark Osina, and Steven Osina.
