Married Dec 21, 1887 San Augustine, TX ------------------------------------------ Graveside services were held at 4 p.m. Friday at the Huntington Cemetery for Mrs. Sarah Jane Beathard, 85, following a service in Port Neches where she died Thursday. Mrs. Beathard was born July 21, 1869 in San Augustine County. Except for the past year, she had lived in Angelina County most of her life. She was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors: three daughters, Mr. J. B. Walker, Mrs. Pete Renda and Mrs. Lee Hilton; brother, Walter Hodge; sister, Mrs. Sulie Seale; 38 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren.
