US Marine Corps WWII and Korean War Veteran The San Diego Union-Tribune - October 27, 2011 Jan. 20, 1929 to Oct. 13, 2011 BURK, ROBERTA M. May 1, 1933 to Oct. 10, 2011 Delmer grew up in San Diego. He served as a Marine in World War II and Korea. Roberta grew up in Del Mar. She wed Delmer "Del", Valentine's Day 1954. After Delmer retired from the Sheriffs Dept. they were Oriental art dealers. Survived by one son, Richard, his wife, Z. Johnanne, and grand kids, Elizabeth and William. Special thanks to St. Paul Catherdral, Sharp Memorial Trauma Unit, SICU and Palliative Care.
