ROBERT STEVEN TYNAN, beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away at his home in Houston, TX. Rosary service 7 PM followed by visitation until 9 PM on Wednesday, January 21, at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 26777 Glen Loch Drive, The Woodlands, TX, at 10:30 AM, Thursday, January 22, 1998 with Monsignor Charles Domec, Celebrant. Rite of Committment will follow at Garden Park Cemetery, 801 Teas Road, Conroe. Steve was born in Wichita Falls, TX, September 4, 1960. He attended schools in Spring Branch ISD, Houston, graduating from Stratford High School in 1979. He attended Blinn Junior College in Brenham and TSTI in Waco. Steve was predeceased by his mother, Shirley Piwetz Tynan; paternal grandparents, Patrick C. Tynan and Beulah Nelson Tynan, Groves, TX; maternal grandfather, Adolph F. Piwetz, Baytown, TX; and uncle, Otis J. Hiebeler, Conroe, TX. He is survived by his father Robert Emmet Tynan and mother, Carolyn S. Tynan; sisters Kathleen Chapman, Seabrook, TX, and Karen Price, Midland, TX; maternal grandmother, Cecilia Bednar Piwetz, Baytown; aunts and uncles, Violet and Paul Bowdoin, Houston; Margie and Louis Hrabina, Baytown, Kathleen and Vernon Landry, Rolling Hills, CA; Patricia and Ben Petkowski, Belleville, IL; Margaret and W.F. (Buddy) Davis, Lufkin; Monica and Wilson Kuenzie, Greenfield, WI; Frances E. Tynan, Dallas, TX; Joyce and James T. Tynan, Sr. , Atascocita, TX; Leslie and Anne Swartwout, Camarillo, CA; Lucille and Jack H. Emmott, Jr., Fairbanks, TX; Margaret S. Hiebeler, Conroe, TX; and cousins, nephews and a niece.
