Bio

Services for Charles Ray Willingham, 53 of Fruitvale, were held at 2 p.m., November 9, at Roundflat Pentecostal Church with Bro. Homer Morgan and J.C. Willingham officiating. Interment followed in Creagleville Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline. Mr. Willingham passed away November 6, 2011 in a Tyler hospice facility. He was born October 20, 1958 in Dallas to Charles and Lillian Byram Willingham. He spent most of his life in Mesquite before moving to Fruitvale in 2000. He was a member of Roundflat Pentecostal Church. He worked as an electrician and had also been a police officer. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Carla Willingham of Fruitvale; son, Josh Willingham and Linda McMillan of Grand Saline; daughter, Kasie and Chris Shaw of Canton; brothers, Gary and Kim Willingham of Terrell and Chris Willingham of Mesquite; sisters, Sandi Marshall of Mesquite, Annette Middleton of Mesquite and Cindy Mitchell of New Mexico; grandchildren, Colby, Kortnie and Kylie Shaw; and numerous other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Gary Willingham, Chris Willingham, Christopher Mays, Steve Byram, Guy Swindell and Bradley Willingham. Parental links provided by Karan Higgins # 47990693.
