Greenville (Texas) Herald Banner, Sun, 27 Jan 1980, page A2, Deaths, Shell Jack Shell, 57, of 2901 North East 28th St., Fort Worth, died Friday at 9:17 p.m. in a Bonham hospital. Funeral servcie will be at 2 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews-Peters Chapel with Dr. L.J. Power officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. He was born Sept. 9, 1922 in the Nevada community in Collin County, the son of C.L. Shell and Ona Blanche Milton. A U.S. Navy World War II veteran, Mr. Shell was a carpenter and painter and a member of the Baptist Church, American Legion and V.F.W. Survivors inclue his brother, W.W. Shell of Fort Worth; sisters, Mrs. Bess Wall and Mrs. Alta Bullington both of Greenville and Mrs. Edith Waits of Ventura, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Pallbearers will be John Baker, Mike Douglas, Ron Bullington, A.J. Bulington, Jr., Forest Gooch and Jerry Waits.
