Robert J. Gallagher, 61, Olney, was killed in an accident at 7:15 a.m. on Thursday, June 14, at his family farm near Calhoun. Visitation and services for Robert J. Gallagher will be in Summers Funeral Home with Tim Fry of the Elm Street Christian Church presiding. Burial will be in Crest Haven Cemetery. Mr. Gallagher was born Sept. 12, 1922, in Richland County, the son of Jesse and Elva Jane Hearring Gallagher. He married Betty Stevenson on June 30, 1950 and she survives. He was affiliated with the United Methodist Church and was a W.W. II Veteran. Other survivors include two sons, Jesse and Robert Gallagher, Calhoun; five daughters, Susan Fuller, Vincennes; Patricia Wynne and Lisa Pampe both of Olney; Roberta Miller, Dallas, Tex., Jane Mao, Peoria, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
