Bio

Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Coward, 81, were scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church of Huntington with the Revs. B. P. Humble and Stanley Lohse officiating. Interment was scheduled in the Huntington Cemetery. Mrs. Coward died in a Beaumont hospital Tuesday morning. She had resided in Beaumont for the past 16 years. She was born on Oct. 23, 1882, in Angelina County and had resided here most of her life. Mrs. Cowart was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Huntington. Survivors include daughter, Mrs. Lula Mae Morales of Beaumont; son, Arthur Cowart of Beaumont; sister, Mrs. Arthur Shannon of Huntington; brother, Dr. R. B.
