Caraline on tombstone, Caroline on passenger list. Valentine Kurtzemann emigrated from France to the United States in 1860 destined for Texas. He entered the states through the port of New Orleans along with his family. Valentine was 37, his wife, Catherine, 28, son, Charles, 4, daughters, Catherine, 2, and Caroline 1 1/2. All listed as born in France.
