Bio

Oscar R. Gustavson passed away September 2, 1992. Although he was born in Silverton, Colorado, to Charles and Alma Gustavson, Oscar moved to Springville as a child and resided there until the time of his death. He married Emily Norman November 25, 1932, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He is survived by three daughters and one son: Mrs. William (Cora) Kappele, Mission Viego, California; Mrs. Leonard (Joyce) Hurst, Springville; Mrs. Dale (Joan) Childs, Provo; Norman Gustavson, Orem; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Helen Caviness, Sand Diego, California; Irene Ehrman, Veronia, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emily; brother, Carl; and four grandchildren. Burial was September 5, 1992.
