Bio

Services for Lillian Nerren Davis, 84, of Zavalla, were held at 1 p.m. today at Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Frank Martin and Bro. Otis Thompson officiating. Interment was in Huntington Cemetery. Mrs. Davis was born in Angelina county and had lived here all of her life. She was a retired cook for Zavalla schools and had worked in a cafe. Mrs. Davis was a past member of Rebeccah Lodge and a member of Zavalla Church of Christ. Survivors: Daughter: Mary Louise Brewster Son: Nelson Eugene Brookshire Stepson: Jake Brookshire Stepdaughter: Mary Ruth Tullos 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren Brother: Floyd Nerren Nieces and nephews Pallbearers were Ronnie Brewster, Welton Brookshire, Larry Tullos, Frank Williams, Jr., George Polland and Pete Davis.
