June Louise Fisher June 6, 1931 ~ October 25, 2011 MARINA - June L. Fisher, a lifelong resident of the Monterey Peninsula, passed away in Monterey on October 25. She was a graduate of Monterey High School, Class of 1949. June was a longtime, active member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Marina where she was a preschool teacher for over ten years. She also loved working in her garden. June is survived by her daughter, Linda (Ted) McMurray of Valley Springs; her grandsons, Trevor and Chad and her great-grandchildren, Haley and Brady. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, in 2010. Graveside services will be held at Monterey City Cemetery this Monday, October 31 at 1:00 PM. Memorial contributions are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church of Marina, 160 Seaside Court, Marina, CA 93933.
