Bio
"Albert" was retired from Combustion Engineering in Chattanooga with over 30 years of service. He was an Elder in The Chattanooga City Church and active with The Ministry to Israel. Enjoyed traveling to Israel to work with the Israeli Military. Preceeded in death by parents George Washington Owensby and Nancy Ellen Travis, brother Edward Lee Owensby. Survived by two daughters; Karon Elaine Owensby, Linda Ellen Pursley,of Chattanooga,TN two sons: William A. Owensby Jr.,of Nashville, Tn., Gerald "Jerry" Leslie Owensby,of Decatur, AL., brother Thomas Vance Owenby, sister Virginia Mae Pursley of Dayton,Tn., six grandsons, one granddaughter, and three great grandchildren.
