Julian Adelbert Bowles, devoted husband, father, and brother, was a hardworking, fun, loving, and giving man; he passed away quietly in his sleep at home on November 5, 2011. He was born January 9, 1931 to Grafton Ann Bowles and Lillian Walker Bowles. He was the youngest of fifteen, three of which died at birth. He married his sweetheart Marjorie Emma Buchi in Elko, Nevada on June 22, 1957. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple on October 15, 1963. Julian was a successful businessman of JABCO PLUMBING & HEATING for over twenty years and was a master plumber. Julian was known for growing beautiful flowers and sharing these beautiful creations with loved ones and friends, putting in hours of labor for others to enjoy the beauty that he created, giving freely to them. Julian truly had a heart of gold and gave freely to those he loved. He was a High Priest and served as a devoted ward clerk and financial clerk in the LDS Church. Survivors: sweetheart wife, Marjorie, Taylorsville; children, JoAnn (Wayne) Wallace, Eagle Mountain; Steven (Joy), Sandy Valley, NV; Terry (Barbara), Herriman; Victor (Diann), Herriman; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Arvid (Joyce) and Theron (Ladene). Preceded in death by: parents; brothers and sisters, Grafton, Sam, Jack, Jim, Robert I., Trussler, Viola, Vera, and Edna; and a granddaughter. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. in the Taylorsville Thirtieth Ward Chapel, 4950 South 1950 West. Viewings will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), and one hour prior to the services at the church.
