her son's bio had indicated her maiden name should be Box; but I received suggestion thanks to Find A Grave contributor Julie Lodygowski #47340288 that her maiden name is Hall and that her parents are E G Hall and Elvenia. she also mentioned that Mattie's sister Bennie was the one that married a man by the surname of Box Her date of death is May 25,1983 verified by the funeral home in Farmersville, Texas , Hurst Fielder Baker.
