BLOOMING GROVE (Sp.)—Mrs. Mattie Robinson, 80, a longtime Blooming Grove resident, died Sunday night in Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 31, 1888 in Alabama and moved to Avalon in 1902. In 1924 she moved to Blooming Grove where she has resided since then. Services will be held at 2 p.m Tuesday at McCormick Funeral Chapel in Blooming Grove with the Revs. Mel Hardin and Bruce Hibbitt officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Surviving are two sons, George A. Robinson of Corsicana and Dee C. Robinson of Hillsboro; four daughters, Miss Irene Robinson of Blooming Grove, Mrs. Maicel Boyd and Mrs. Louie Springer of Dallas, and Mrs. Elsie Trice of De Soto; a brother, Roy Reed, and a sister, Miss Mae Reed, both of Blooming Grove; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
