Dennis Wiggins BORN: December 1, 1917 DIED: March 9, 2011 RESIDENCE: Hugo, OK Henry Andrew Jerry "Dennis" Wiggins was born December 1, 1917 in Bogota, TX, the son of James Wiggins and Bertha (Kays) Wiggins and had lived most of his life in Hugo. Dennis was a World War II Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He married Marie Moore on May 23, 1963 in Durant, OK. Dennis liked to sit up by the fire station and sell vegetables. He was a Barber by occupation. He learned to cut hair in the army cutting his whole platoons hair but never went to barber school. He just went to Oklahoma City to take the test and passed. Dennis sold World Book Encyclopedia and also sold salad master cookware in his spare time. He dug native trees and set out for a lot of people around Hugo. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, James Allen WigginsSURVIVORS INCLUDE: his wife, Marie Wiggins: son, Harold Goodwin of Hugo; daughters, Jerry Ann Brock of Euless, TX, LaRetha Lester of Bells, TX, Elaine Winslett of Calera, OK, Vonda Schutts of Soper and Donna Robinson of Boswell; 11 grandchildren, Mickie Lee Lester, Michelle Carney, Dax Winslett, Tori Trusty, Aaron Robinson, Lora Yoder, Amy Robinson, Emily Robinson, Josh Goodwin, Jamie Weston and Keely Goodwin; 11 great grandchildren, Courtney Lester, Jessi Lester, Kenlee Lester, Morgan Carney, Ryan Carney, Madison Winslett, Mabry Winslett, Ella Winslett, Ava Robinson, Aden Robinson and Rylynn Yoder; one brother, Irvin J. Wiggins of Phoenix City, Alabama; a niece Vera Rowe; nephews, David Ward and Buck Ward along with many other relatives and friends.
