#46893586: Madera Daily Tribune (Madera, California) September 11, 1961 (Monday) Page 2, Column 3. MRS. KATIE CRAIN CHOWCHILLA. Mrs. Katie B. Crain, 83, of 1005 1/2 Trinity st. Chowchilla, died Sunday at her home. A native of Texas, Mrs. Crain moved to Southern California in 1940 and to Chowchilla in 1948. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Tera Stover, Chowchilla; three sons, Louis (Skeet) Crain, Chowchilla; Tom Crain, Pacoima; and Jim Crain, Glendale; a brother, James Kyle, Chowchilla; 17 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Worden Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Chowchilla District Cemetery
