Alvord: Ina Pearl Barclay, 90, a retired seamstress, went to be with her Lord Sunday, October 30, 2011 in Decatur, Texas. Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, at the Alvord Church of Christ with burial in Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home. Pallbearers include Sam Phillips, Kenny Barclay, Casey Barclay, Jody Barclay, Curtis Barclay, Mason Barclay, and Kaleb Bryant. Ina was born September 11, 1911 in Van Zandt County, Texas to Marvin Watson and Lois Etta (Bunch) Palmer. She married Pete Barclay on May 9, 1944 in Waxahachie, Texas. They were married for 67 years. She was a member of the Alvord Church of Christ. Left behind to cherish her memory are 2 daughters, Betty Slovacek and husband Robert of Mabank, Texas, and Ann Phillips and husband Danny of Burleson, Texas; son, Michael Barclay and wife, Toni of Alvord; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Jerry and Larry Palmer; daughter-in-law, Kay Barclay; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Teddy Barclay; and 2 brothers. Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home 940/627-5959
