Gillespie (son) ----------------------------- Services for Mrs. Maggie Lee Gillespie, 76, were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Oakley-Metcalf Chapel with Rev. H. Earl Calloway officiating and burial was in the Huntington Cemetery. Mrs. Gillespie of Etoile, died in a Nacogdoches hospital thursday morning. She was born in Shelby County, October 16, 1896, and had resided in Nacogdoches County for the past 20 years. Mrs. Gillespie was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors: son, R. L. of Huntington; daughter, Mrs. Betty Lindsey of Homer, La.; sisters, Mrs. Ophelia Adams of Houston, Mrs. Euda Peace of Bossier City, La., and Mrs. Beatrice Hardy of Lufkin; brother, Harlie McKenzie of San Augustine; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
