Retirement years spent winters in Arizona. Member, United Church of Christ, Friend. Survivors: husband, Ted E.; daughter, son-in-law, Betty and Dale Nahrstedt, Lincoln; son, daughter-in-law, Keith and Erma Clouse, Friend; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Elmer, Joe, Bill and Walter Burkey; sisters, Katie Burkey, Edna Rediger. Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, United Church of Christ, Friend. The Rev. Robert R. Brauninger. Pallbearers: Tom and David Clouse, Greg Nahrstedt, Dale Young, Harry Burkey, Terry Rediger. Andrew Cemetery, Friend. Visitation: 9-9 p.m. Wednesday, 9-noon Thursday, Lauber-Moore Funeral Home, Friend and one hour before services, church.
