Lewis Kelly Sr., 74, former employe of Esso Standard Oil Co. in Baton Rouge, died yesterday in a Mobile, Ala., hospital. A native of Gloster, Miss., Kelly lived in Mobile. He was active in Masonry and was a lifetime deacon of the Baptist church in both Baton Rouge and Gloster. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and served during World War I as an ensign. He was the father of the late Mrs. Robert Lyle, Baton Rouge. Survivors include his widow, the former Mamie Irene Adams, Mobile; two sons, and a daughter. Services will be at Welsh Funeral Home at 11 a.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Published in The State-Times (Baton Rouge, LA), Thursday, May 13, 1965
