Mary Lynn George, 77, of Gribble Springs, died Thursday, October 27, 2011 at her home. Mrs. George was born on March 28, 1934 in Pilot Point to Edward Eldon and Inez Ella (Bruner) Yarbrough. She was married to Sidney R. George on February 4, 1949 in Lewisville, TX. She graduated from Texas Woman's University. She was a retired nurse and a homemaker and a member of Gribble Springs Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Vic George and wife, Betty of Pilot Point; her daughter, Toni Erwin and husband, Benny of Sanger; sisters, Foy Crowder and June Russell of Crossroads; four grandchildren, David L. Erwin and wife, Dena, John R. Erwin and wife, Dana, Jake George and wife, Mandy, Alicia Sparkman and husband, Milton; great-grandchildren, Kade Erwin, Gavin Erwin, Ryan Erwin, Braden Sparkman, and Kason Sparkman. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sidney R. George, grandson Wesley R. Erwin, and parents.
