Leona Mae Rosenbaum Zwahr,,passed away Feb.9,2008.She was born on March 15,1927,in Richmond,Texas,to Reinhard Henry and Amanda Meyer Rosenbaum.On April 22,1945,Leona married Clarence E.Zwahr in Richmond,Texas.Clarence finished his service to the armed forces.In 1952,the couple bought property in Danbury,where they engaged in rice farming,ranching,and fish farming.Preceded in death by her husband,Clarence E.Zwahr,1995;infant son,David Zwahr,1951;parents;brothers,Rudy Rosenbaum;Leroy Rosenbaum;Jerry Rosenbaum;Bont Rosenbaum;sister,Helen Trilica;Survivors include her children,Kenneth L.Zwahr;Brent Zwahr;Carol Zwahr Bogema and husband,Eric;six grandchildren,;seven great-grandchildren;brother,Henry Rosenbaum;three sisters,Norma Freund and husband,Raymond;Adele Mensik and husband,Frank;Amanda Hafer;Final arrangements entrusted to Palms Funeral Home,Angleton,TX.77515.Source:The Brazosport Facts Newspaper,Clute,Texas,77531.02/11/2008
