Bio

There is another memorial for Mary Ellen located here Mary Ellen is a daughter of Caleb William Haws and Eliza Ann Snow. When she was five years old her father was called on a mission to England. Six months into the mission Caleb died of smallpox and is buried in England. Mary Ellen grew up in Provo with her mother and siblings. After her marriage to George Addison Bean, they moved to Sugar City, Idaho where they lived out their lives and raised their five children. Because Caleb is actually buried in England, a monument was raised in Provo where Eliza Ann is buried. All of the children's names are listed on the monument which is the reason for this memorial. Mary Ellen is buried in Idaho.
