Amelia V. Broach (1919 - 2011) Amelia V. Broach, 91, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011, surrounded by her family. Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Macon Cemetery in Mount Vernon. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Amelia was born Nov. 29, 1919, to Amelia and Wright Fuquay. She was a licensed vocational nurse and graduate of 1959. She lived in Fort Worth from 1951 until moving to Decatur in 2008, living there until 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Broach; sons, Vaughn Broach and Harvey Broach; brother, Bill Fuquay; and sister-in-law, Mary Fuquay. Survivors: Daughter, Sue Beth Struthers; sisters, Maxine Bullard and Phyllis Boverie and husband, Robert; brother, Eddie Zach Fuquay and wife, Connie; aunt, Freddie Miller; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
