Bio

Bio by Loita Hawkinson: Mary was the infant daughter of Charles Nicholas Sampont and Kate Becker Sampont. The grave marker has infant but family records show she was named Mary. Mary had a sister, Cordelia, who died as an infant as well and is buried in the same cemetery. Mary and Cordelia had siblings that moved to Kirkland, Washington with their parents. The rest of the family is buried in Kirkland and Seattle. Their siblings were Martin, Charlie, Larry, Clara, Juliet, Henry.
