PUBLISHED IN DESERET NEWS April 30, 1932 ORANGEVILLE---Mrs. Ruth Fox Peacock, widow of Edward L. Peacock, died April 28 at a hospital in Price. Mrs. Peacock was born March 26, 1888 at Manti, Utah, and has been a resident of Orangeville since a small child. She was an accomplished pianist and an active member of the LDS Church. She served as ward organist, for seven years; she was teacher in the Relief Society, Mutual Improvement Association and ward Sunday school. She was a member of the M.I.A. mixed quartet, which won first place in the Emery stake district contest held in Castle Dale, April 17, 1932. She was also active in social and civic affairs, being president of the Ladies improvement club, here and was a representative to the Women's National Federation convention held at Ogden in 1931. She is survived by her father and mother Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Fox, Orangeville, and the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. W. T. Reid, Mrs. F. R. Jewkes, and Mr. W. E. Fox all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. F. W. Von Elm, Boise, Idaho; J. E. Fox, San Francisco; Mrs. R. O. Coleman, Oxford, North Carolina, and R. B. Fox, Castle Dale. Services will be conducted in the ward chapel here Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in the local cemetery.
