Thomas Eugene Bean March 19, 1925 - October 16, 2011 Born and raised in Dallas, Texas to John Thomas Bean and Thelma Lorene Dycus on March 19, 1925. On January 23, 1944, he married Mary Evelyn Worthen. From this marriage of 56 years, they had four children, Mary Elouise, Nancy Lorraine, Thomas Wayne, and John Edward. He was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church and served as Deacon of the Truitt Chapel in Dallas, Texas. He retired from the Ford Motor Company after 26 years of dedicated service. He is survived by Daughters: Mary Aldridge and husband James, Nancy Moore and husband, Thomas, Sons: Thomas Bean and wife, Patricia, John Bean and wife, Terri, 10 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren and Sister-in-law, Geraldine Bean. He is predeceased by his wife, Mary Evelyn Worthen Bean, his brother, James William Bean, and parents John and Thelma Bean. He served in the Army Signal Corps in the Pacific Theater including Okinawa during World War II, from January 10, 1944 to February 15, 1946. He attained the rank of Technician 5th Grade and was discharged at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas He was a licensed fixed wing civilian aircraft pilot.
