Bio
Grace Onstott, 91 of Bluffton, Texas formerly of Bryan, Texas went to be with the Lord Saturday October 15, 2011. She was born September 24, 1920 to J.B. Blackwell and Grace (Royall) Blackwell in Lometa, Texas. On May 1, 1940 Grace married A.H. "Pete" Onstott in Goldthwaite, Texas; he preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by their infant daughter, Grace Ruth Onstott, sister, Dorothy Richardson and brothers, Billy Joe Blackwell and Jack Blackwell. Mrs. Onstott had been a resident of Bluffton since 1984 and was an active member of the Buchanan West Baptist Church in Buchanan Dam, Texas. Survivors include, son, A.W. Onstott and wife Patricia of College Station, Texas; daughter, Linda Poe and husband Kenneth of Llano, Texas; grandchildren, Chris, Krystina, Khara, James and Troy; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Charles, Courtney, Arthur, Adam, Addie and Logan. Pallbearers will be the deacons from Buchanan West Baptist Church. Funeral Services were held at the Buchanan West Baptist Church in Buchanan Dam, Texas with Reverend John Taylor officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Llano Hospice or The Buchanan West Baptist Church. Arrangements under the direction of Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, Llano.
