Dallas Morning News, TX, Wednesday, August 1, 1951 Mrs. Mary Mosman Rites Set Monday Special to the News GAINESVILLE, Texas, July 31.---Mrs. Mary Mosman, 96, resident of Cooke County fifty-seven years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Loerwald of Gainesville, Monday night. She had been critically ill for some time. Solemn Requiem Mass will be celebrated Wednesday morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Gainesville. Burial will be at Lindsay. One of her grandsons, the Rev. Fred Mosman of Dallas, will be celebrant. He will be assisted by the Rev. Peter Molloy, pastor of St. Mary's, and the Rev. Conrad Hrda (sic) of Lindsay. Mrs. Mosman was born at Guttenberg, Iowa, in 1854. She moved to Lindsay, Cooke County, with her husband, Frank Mosman, in 1894. Survivors are her daughter; a son Peter Mosman of Gainesville; a foster son, Fred Mosman of Lindsay; twenty-five grandchildren; forty-eight grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
