Bio
Florine V. Russell Jones, 88 of Van Buren, Arkansas went to be with her Lord, Sunday, October 16, 2011 in a local retirement home. She was a former employee of the Darrell Thomas Company and a native of Natural Dam and a graduate of Cedarville High School. She was a dedicated member of the First Assembly of God Church in Van Buren, an active member of the Women's Ministries and the Nursing Home Ministries. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Isaiah Jones and nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Jones of Van Buren and Elaine Nye of Bentonville; one son, Larry Jones and wife Carolyn of Van Buren; four grandchildren, Brian Nye and wife, Jana, Christi Swafford and husband Daniel, Kelly Nye, Aaron Jones and wife, Debi; seven great grandchildren: Rachel Nye, Caelyn, Raegan and Joslyn Swafford, Lainey Nye, Riley and Ellie Jones; one sister, Evelyn Swartz and husband, Jay of Tulsa and one brother, Bill Russell and wife, Mila of Van Buren. Funeral service will be held Thursday October 20th 2011 at 10:00am at First Assembly of God Church, Van Buren, AR with Reverend Bobby Johnson, Reverend Torin Johnson and Reverend Gary Grisham officiating. Pallbearers will be Brian Nye, Aaron Jones, Daniel Swafford, Vernon Russell, Tim Hodges and Rev. Gary Grisham. Honorary pallbearers will be her close friends at Legacy Heights Retirement Center.
