Bio

Dorothy Cunningham, 97, was born October 11, 1912 in Des Moines, the daughter of Sydney and Trannie (Davis) Nicholas. She passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. Dorothy is survived by numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Al Cunningham. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 14, 2010 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Avenue, Des Moines. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines.
