Faye Marie (Cannon) Mosman, 87, of Shawnee, died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, at a local hospital. She was born April 19, 1924, in Wanette to Thomas Patrick Cannon and Ednis Cecil (Moore) Cannon. She graduated from Wanette High School. On April 22, 1946, she married Clarence William Mosman. She was a homemaker and mother most of her life. She enjoyed reading, playing the organ, and gardening. She was preceded in death by parents; husband; step-mother, Wynona Collier Cannon; two brothers, Robbie Cannon and Tom Cannon Jr. Survivors include three children, Stephen Mosman and wife, Kathy, of Vermont, Brad Mosman and wife, Beverly, of Shawnee, and Theresa Seyffert and husband, Wally, of Shawnee; eight grandchildren, Rachel Mosman, Sarah Mosman, Joel Mosman and wife, Dana, Hannah McLoud and husband, David, Lydia Mosman, Jess Mosman, Shane Seyffert, Belinda Isaacs; one great-granddaughter, Emma Kathleen Foss; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will be at Walker Funeral Service from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, to greet friends. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, at Calvary Cemetery with Father Gary Baldwin officiating. Walker Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
