Charity Brantley Metcalf was born on July 17, 1898, the child of John and Mollie B. She married Aaron Custer White and they had two children together. She then had one son from another relationship. She died on September 6, 1986, at the age of 88. ************ The date of death 5 Sep 1986 is supported by the obituary, the Texas Death Index, and the Social Security Death Index. The obituary was published on Saturday 6 Sep 1986 and stated that Charity died Friday morning. Charity was married to George Isaac Burdette from about 1934 until his death in 1947. Finally, Charity's only child of record was Arthur John (A J) Bishop by her first husband Isaac Newton Bishop; she was 73 years old when she married Aaron C White and did not have children by him.
