Bio
Jacob or "Little Jake" was the third son born to Frederick William & Virginia Elizabeth Wisdom Hollabaugh in Waynesboro, Tennessee. His mother died in childbirth or shortly thereafter. Frederick & sons Oscar, John & infant baby Jacob traveled by covered wagon in a caravan of wagons coming to Texas. Mothers nursing their babies would allow Jacob to nurse or he would have died.
