MORGAN, JOSEPH (J.D.), age 77, of Garland, TX passed away June 29, 2003, in Rowlett. He was born on October 17, 1925, in Addison, TX to Joe D. and Georgia Mae (Johnson) Morgan. He married Earnestine Schmid on May 12, 1951, in Garland, TX. Mr. Morgan was in automobile sales. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp and was a veteran of WWII. He is survived by his daughter, Monica Mahaffey of Rowlett, TX; sons, Terry Morgan and wife, Traci of Emory, TX and Jerry Morgan and wife, Barbara of Rowlett; granddaughters, Christie Ridgley and husband, Randy of Rowlett and Misty Mahaffey of Garland, TX; grandsons, Jeremy Morgan of Plano, TX and Bradly Williams of Garland; great granddaughter, Morgan Ridgley of Rowlett; great grandson, Gyvonne Jackson of Rowlett; and nephew, A.W. Anderson and wife, Shirley of Cedar Creek, TX. Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Earnestine Morgan; daughter, Sherry Williams;; and son-in-law, Randy Williams. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 1, 2003 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society; 8900 Carpenter Freeway, Dallas, TX 75247.
