Born Feb. 12, 1929, in Rusk County, the daughter of Birdest and Mary Lou (Skelton) Fancher. She was a homemaker and a member of Clarksville City Baptist Church, Gladewater. Survivors include her husband, Joe V. Bower of Gladewater, TX; son, Joe Allen Bower of Gladewater, TX; daughters, Sue Abbott of Waco, TX, and Debbie Johns of Gladewater, TX; sister, Billie Young of Garrison, TX; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be today in Garrison Funeral Home Chapel, Garrison, TX, with the Rev. Roger Gage of Clarksville City Baptist Church in Gladewater officiating. Burial will be in Caledonia Cemetery, Rusk County. ******************************
