John C. Vaughan GLADEWATER Services for John C Vaughan, 53, of Gladewater will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Malcolm Stone Funeral Home. Burial will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Ridgeway Cemetery in Ridgeway. Mr. Vaughan died Monday afternoon in a Tyler hospital after a short illness. He was born in Ridgeway, Aug. 31, 1927, and had lived in the Gladewater area 10 years. He had been employed 30 years by Central Freight Lines as a driver. Survivors include his mother, Ivy Parker Vaughan of Brashear; a son, John Allen Vaughan of Sulphur Springs; three daughters, Mrs. Rhonda Elsberry of Carrollton, Miss Freita Vaughan of Addison, Mrs. Renee Croley of Longview; three brothers, Otis of Brashear, Billy of Dallas and Robert of Arlington; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Lou Owens of Fort Worth, Mrs. Marie West of Winnie and Mrs. Oleta Wynn of Gladewater; and two grandchildren.
