Nell was the daughter of Robert and Mary Chamberlain Renick. She was the wife of Hiram H. Johnson and they were the parents of; Mary Inez, Ruth, Robert Perry, Willie, Guy Hiram, Alpha and Laverne Johnson. She died at the Evergreen Nursing Home.
