KEYES, Okla. – Mildred Alice Williams, 93, of Keyes died Tuesday, Oct. 4, in Elkhart, Kan. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Keyes, with Billy Rammage and Mark Nickles, officiating. Burial will be in Willowbar Cemetery, Keyes. Arrangements are under the direction of Cimarron Mortuary, Boise City, Okla. Mrs. Williams was born Jan. 15, 1918, to William Howard and Mary Elizabeth Hammontree in the Willowbar Community in Cimarron County, Okla. She married Lloyd Williams in 1937. Survivors include three daughters, Phyllis Gurba of Bridgeport, Linda Betts of Keyes and Deana Eslinger of Keyes; five grand children; and thirteen great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to the Music Fund at Keyes Baptist Church or a favorite charity; memorials may be left in care of the mortuary. Amarillo Globe-News, Oct. 7, 2011.
