Bio
Carolyn Haller, 68, of Wood River died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at St. Francis Medical Center, Grand Island. Carolyn was born Feb. 22, 1943, in Broken Bow to Kenneth and Ruby (Humes) Moseley. On Nov. 23, 1963, she married Donald Haller. Survivors are: husband, Donald Haller; sons, Daniel of Lincoln and Douglas of Shelton; daughter, Kila Strasburger and her husband, Bryan, of Chicago; grandchildren, Jeff, Kristen, Danielle, Daly, Alexis and Jacob; and great-grandchild, Hallie. Carolyn and Donald farmed in the Wood River area. Carolyn loved spending time with her grandkids, bridge, cooking, working in her yard, outings with the Red Hat Extension Club girls, quilting and hiking. Extended family includes John and Bonnie Bellamy and their family. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and a sister. Burial was in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Wood River, NE.
