Clinton Trimble EMORY- Clinton Trimble of Emory died Wednesday at Green Acres Nursing Home in Emory. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Emory Baptist Church. Rev. Danny Trimble and Rev. J.M. Barksdale will officiate. Burial will be in Emory City Cemetery. He was born in Fort Worth on March 29, 1909 to Moses Elbert and Oma Carolyn Slider Trimble. He married Dollie Luckett on Sept. 4, 1926 in the Flats community. He was a farmer and a carpenter. Mr. Trimble was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife of Emory; sons Billy Trimble of Point, Floyd Trimble of Dallas, Jimmy Trimble of Irving and Leo Trimble of Big Sandy; two daughters, Wanda Traylor of Emory and Sandra Stone of Emory; a brother, Archie Stuart of Brackettville; two sisters, Juanita Lyles of Dallas and Alma Hays of Wylie; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be David Traylor, Gary Stone, Randy Traylor, Bobby Trimble, Keith Trimble and Jerry Stone. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Terry Stone and Curtis Trimble. Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home of Emory is in charge of arrangements.
