Mary Davis Reed Belt 2nd wife of Jeremiah Belt His 1st wife was Mantania Jacobs She was injured in a tornado on April 15, 1879, which destroyed her home in Lisbon TX Donna Spears 4-8-2015 The Belts are my Ancestors and i descend from Humphrey Belt I do not wish to transfer them if you have something to add feel free to send your information to me. LaMona Mrs. M.D. (Mary Davis) Belt age 78, years old, died yesterday at Weatherford, the remains were brought here and will be entered at Lisbon. Mrs. Belt had been a resident of Dallas County near Lisbon for nearly 30 years. Obituary by Sarah Stead Robert Middleton Belt 27 July 1847 Notes for Robert Middleton Belt s/o Jeremiah Jacob Belt and Mary Davis Reed Robert was accidentally shot by his father. He was standing guard at his home. His father thought he was a Guerilla soldier it was very dark at night and during the Civil War. It would have been in 1860's.
