WELL KNOW MAN SUCCUMBS FOLLOWING AN OPERATION FOR APPENDICITIS Charles G Cary, aged 61, a traveling salesman with the F B Cary & Co, wholesale granite dealers of this city, died in a hospital In Ottumwa, Iowa, at 1 o'clock Thursday morning from the effects of an operation for appendicitis, about one week ago. He, was stricken in that city and was removed to the hospital. His wife and son Harry, of Indianapolis, were at his bedside. The fatally resides at Findley avenue. Mr Cary was a member of the Central Presbyterian church and took an active Interest In church affairs. He had been associated with the Cary company for a number of years. Besides his widow, he Is survived by five children: Mrs Ralph Lash, of San Francisco; Miss Maude Cary, of the home; Louis and Carl Cary, of Chicago, and Harry Cary, of Indianapolis, and also by two brothers and one slster: Dr Frank L Cary and Dr Benjamin T Cary, dentists, and Miss Helen Virginia Cary, all of this city. The body will arrive here Friday evening ever the Baltimore at Ohio road, accompanied by member of the family, and will be taken to the family home on Findley avenue. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon by Rev Walter L Whallon of the Central Presbyterian church. Friends of the family, are invited. Burial In Greenwood will be private.
