QUANAH — Anita Tabor Finley, 78, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Quanah First Baptist Church with the Rev. Monte Lumpkin, minister of Goodlett Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Goodlett Cemetery by Smith Funeral Home of Quanah. Mrs. Finley was born April 17, 1933, in Hardeman County to Archie Weldon and Opal E. Walkup Tabor. She married Coney Ray Finley on Dec. 1, 1949. Survivors include her husband of Quanah; four daughters, Lynn Greenwood of Des Moines, Iowa, Kay Mahan of Arlington, Ann Bryant of Houston and Amy Finley of Quanah; three sons, Jim Finley, David Finley and Dan Finley, all of Quanah; a brother, Weldon "Butch" Tabor of Quanah; nine grand- children; and 25 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Rathgeber Hospitality House, 1615 12th St., Wichita Falls, TX 76301; or Spina Bifida Association of North Texas, 705 W. Avenue B, Suite 409, Garland, TX 75040.
