Listed on Oklahoma State Vital Records (death) Index as PENEA Hale Suggestion for birth location: Searcy County, Arkansas, made by Michael Mizar "The census report was taken in Searcy. Close enough to when she was born. Just a good assumption. They had been living in Searcy County at least since their marriage in 1890 as shown on the marriage records and all of the census reports of all their kids are shown as living in Searcy County. I can't imagine they were born anywhere else. Her mother was 16 when she got married. I'm sure she was probably living near her parents and not traveling too far to give birth in the 1870's."
