Hillsboro Reporter Thursday, July 24, 2003 LEONE IVY Mrs. Leone E. Ivy, 79, of Whitney died Friday, July 18. She was born August 16, 1923 in Hill County, daughter of Ollie and Minnie Hestilow Wallace. She attended school at Prairie Valley. She married Kenneth R. Ivy December 9, 1954 in Glen Rose. She was a member of Prairie Valley Baptist Church in Whitney. Survivors include: her husband; two children, Garland Ivy of Cleburne and Sissy Holt of Ennis; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 21, at Prairie Valley Baptist Church in Whitney with Rev. Eddie Booth officiating. Burial followed at Prairie Valley Cemetery in Whitney.
