Bio
Joseph John Kreitzer, 71, of Brighton, a retired employee of Mac's Plumbing and Heating, died Feb. 12 in Brighton. Services were Feb. 15 at Rice Mortuary Chapel. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. He was born Aug. 14, 1930, in Sterling. On Feb. 22, 1948, he married Helen Joy Grace in Brighton. She died Feb. 15, 1988. He was a sergeant first class in the Army for more than 22 years. He worked for Mac's Plumbing and Heating for 11 years. His interests included fishing and puzzles. He is survived by a son, Larry, of Oxford, England; four daughters, Julie Brandt and Loretta Bettger, both of Brighton, and Doris Gyrion and Beverly Allen, both of Lochbuie; two sisters, Marie Scepurek and Geraldine Knodel, both of Brighton; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
